PETS
Our Cleaners are pet friendly but we ask that you make sure all pets are put away safely. As our cleaners are often in/out of your home and do not want your pets to brake away.
GLUE, CANDY STUCK ON SURFACES ?
Our cleaners will clean all floors. If there's buildup on the floor surface that require scraping, scrubbing or peeling off such as (gum, candle wax, glue, paint or food) Our cleaners are not allowed to scrape the surface due to defects that may occur to the paint or surface without permission. If you have ceramic tile, stone floors or grout that needs to be cleaned, It's not included with our deep cleaning. Our cleaners will only vacuum, dust mop, sweep and mop the floors.
Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors do not offer carpet cleaning or shampooing service.
It is NOT included with our deep cleans.
VENT HOODS
Our cleaners will clean the following appliances, inside/out and underneath, if included...
(1 Stove) (1 Refrigerator) (1 Microwave) ( 1 Dishwasher)
Cleaning underneath will be performed ONLY if the appliance can be pulled out safely without damage risk.
However, if you have a vent hood or an overhead range that has grease buildup or filters that need to be cleaned, Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors recommend that you contact a hood or vent cleaning company to clean it or replace the filter.
Our cleaners will clean the exterior surface only.
It is not our cleaners job to clean underneath vent hoods.
WALL CLEANING - CEILING CLEANING
Wall cleaning / Ceiling Cleaning is NOT included with our deep cleaning service.
If your walls or ceilings is old and heavily damaged with smoke or buildup, Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors recommend that you have them replaced, sanded or painted. However, Our cleaners will try to eliminate some of the dirt, marks and scratches in which, they feel safe to remove without damage. Take in consideration... that our company do not restore damaged walls or ceilings nor can we remove years of buildup in some cases. It is recommended that you contact a Professional restoration company.
TALL and HARD TO REACH HIGH SURFACES
Our cleaners may reject providing service to clean ceiling fans and high surfaces that has heavy dirt and grease buildup at any time. Including those that are not in reasonable reach of (12ft) due to insurance limitations.
Example: ( Tall Windows, Ledges, Fixtures and Lights) For surfaces over 12ft, Please consult with a professional window cleaning company for assistance.

FABRICATING DEBRIS & TEMPERED GLASS ON SHOWERS and Oven Doors
New homes and Commercial buildings today are being furnished with tempered glass.
Tempered glass is manufactured using a heat treatment, followed by rapid cooling.
This produces a compressive surface layer. During this tempering process, fabricating debris can remain and become BAKED onto the surface.
Today in modern homes, You can find this glass in your shower, windows or in your oven door.
Why the need for tempered glass? The number one reason is safety and toughness. Tempered glass is a safety glass that when broken, will crumble into small granular pieces rather than splintering into jagged shards like plate glass, reducing the chance of injury should the glass break. It is also much stronger compared to normal glass.
This type of glass has been proven to be very hard to clean and most professional cleaning companies including "Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors" may ask clients to sign a waiver which states, "Our company is not responsible for scratches caused by fabricating debris" during the cleaning process.
Our cleaners is not allowed to use any type of scraping tools on this type of glass. Their job is to use a soft sponge to clean and disinfect the surface. After a thorough cleaning, The glass in most cases will look untouched, even after cleaning it.
This is when the property owner will be notified.
So what exactly is fabricating debris?
Fabricating debris are tiny, abrasive particles (debris, dust, dirt, or tiny glass particles) that become fused to the glass during the manufacturing process. Tempered glass and "heat strengthened" glass can contain these defects if the glass comes in contact with the tempering oven rollers. Unfortunately, there are no industry standards to address this issue. It's a quality control problem that some manufacturers refuse to follow and a problem that could be reduced or eliminated if they followed their recommended maintenance procedures for their equipment.
Pet Hair
Our cleaners will eliminate most pet hair on the initial cleaning. The client should be aware that pet hair can resurface for a number of reasons, such as turning the heating / ac unit on and off. This could cause the hair that's accumulated within the ducts to blow out and can sabotage a great cleaning. It is always recommended to run your system for at least one hour before your service to rid of loose dust and pet hair that may be sitting inside the ducts.
Mold - Mildew Caulking
If your home has caulking and mold/mildew resides within the caulking. Our cleaners will do their best to remove the mold and mildew from within the caulking. After disinfecting and scrubbing; If by any chance it cannot be removed. Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors, will NOT be held liable and we recommend that your have those areas freshly re-caulked by a professional.
Junk Removal - Hauling - Haul Away Service
When hiring Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors to trash out or remove debris from a property, It does NOT include..."Haul Away Service". Our cleaners job is to make sure that all debris and junk is neatly placed on the curbside. If you would like for Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors to haul the junk or debris away to the local landfill; the price can be quoted separately.
Indoor doghouses, pet beds or animal cages is NOT included with Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors deep cleaning services.
Detached appliances and equipment such as hair brushes, foot cleaning machines, humidifiers, toaster ovens, countertop grills, coffee makers, mixers, blenders, more than one microwave, stove or refrigerator, deep fryers, air fryers, wine coolers, bar-b-grills, wine cellars, hair dryers, pet bowls, pet bedding and deep freezers is NOT included with Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors deep cleaning service.
HOARDING CLEANUP DO'S & DON'TS
Hoarding Cleanup or Decluttering service DO NOT include cleaning. Cleaning must be quoted separately.
When hiring Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors for clutter or hoard cleanup or organizing services.
Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors will NOT be responsible for missing mail, damage to the property or items not accounted for. Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors recommend that all clients research their property and find all necessary items before hiring any company due to the disorganization of the unit and the amount of clutter.
Keep it Real & Simple (It's hard to find a recent utility bill in tons and tons of clutter)
Carpet Removal is NOT included with Cleanup. This service is available and must be quoted separately,
HOARDED HOME APPLIANCES and Cluttered CLOSETS
Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors do not clean appliances with infestations or gross buildup including mold.
We recommend that they be replaced or client may call an appliance restoration company.
Closets are rarely seen during the initial estimate due to the amount of clutter blocking the entry way and is not included in the initial estimate. Block Closets and rooms must be quoted separately as a add-on.
SORTING & ORGANIZING
When hiring Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors for garage cleaning or hoard cleanup service.
Sorting & Organizing is NOT included unless quoted separately. Our cleaners main focus will be to tackle the decluttering process at hand. First by separating the junk from the goods. It's levels to this process that will be explained on-site.
Scenario:
Let's say, Our cleaners removed all items from a closet and sorted the items accordingly, "keep" "donate" "trash"
It is not their job to organize the KEEP items. They will only secure the KEEP items by storing them somewhere safe.
Organizing is time consuming and client must schedule an organizing session separately.
WINDOWS
Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors do NOT offer interior OR exterior window cleaning service.
Our cleaners WILL clean glass doors inside the property and inside the window frames, ledges, overhangs.
We have always encouraged all of our clients to ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked after allowing any service provider to leave the property. Also make sure that your outside heating / ac unit, outdoor furniture and other outdoor valuables are still in place. Check to see if any outdoor storage closets and sheds is LOCKED.
Our cleaners will access the property upon arrival and film a video walkthrough of the property to "Confirm" and "Verify" whether these units were there, and whether everything is still intact or removed; Upon arriving to the property and before departing from the property for our records only.
Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors, Will NOT be RESPONSIBLE for any outdoor theft which may occur once our cleaners leave. As our staff will document these things before they arrive or depart for our records, in most cases. At times, Our cleaners are providing service in high crime areas and Extended Arms Cleaning Contractors sole duty is... to make sure your property is left CLEAN and intact.
